Restitutions
During her career at Sotheby’s, Andrea Jungmann was largely responsible for most of the sales of restituted artworks originating from Austria.
She negotiated the first private restitution in Austria in 2009, Gustav Klimt’s ‘Church in Cassone’, and was involved in several private sales of restituted paintings worth millions.
Each restitution case presents different challenges and requires special sensitivity and empathy to be successful. Her decades of experience in this field are at your disposal.

Since 2024, publicly sworn and court-certified expert for old and second-hand goods as well as Austrian art from 1850-1950 in Vienna, Lower Austria, and Burgenland.

Auctioneer
Since 2000, Andrea Jungmann has supported numerous charitable institutions as an auctioneer for charity auctions such as ICEP, Young Art, seedingart, etc.
She has also successfully conducted auctions at Sotheby’s in London, Amsterdam, and most recently Cologne, such as the auction of Karl Lagerfeld’s estate in 2022.
Andrea Jungmann conducts her auctions with charm, dynamism, and professionalism, and is always enthusiastic about new projects.
Teaching and lecturing
As an expert in the art market, she teaches at various institutions on the subject of “art as an investment” and the international art market in general. Her lectures are also popular with financial institutions, Rotary clubs, and universities.
